Scanning partial dentures can be challenging, especially in difficult-to-reach areas like the lower arch posteriors. To improve the process, ensure the area is dry and use retraction tools to better access the edentulous regions.

Take your time, and carefully rotate the scanner from the buccal to the lingual side to capture sufficient tissue coverage. Rushing over the occlusal surface may result in inadequate scans. Patience and precision are key for successful scanning in these tricky areas.
